What Is An E-commerce Website?
An e-commerce website is an online shop. Customers browse your products, add them to a cart and pay online. A good online store is fast, easy to search, simple to pay on and safe. It also sends you and your customer a clear order record every time.
What Your Store Includes
- Product pages with clear photos, prices and stock levels
- Local payment gateway setup
- Delivery options and charges by area
- Order emails for you and your customer
- WhatsApp button for quick questions
- Product SEO so items can show up on Google
- Sales tracking so you know which products and pages earn money
A Store We Built: AgriOne
AgriOne sells fertilizers, seeds and crop protection to dealers, estates and growers across Sri Lanka. We built their new website and online catalogue on WooCommerce, and positioned the brand around proof: batch-tested products, ISO certification and a Certificate of Analysis with every order.
- A full online catalogue. 65+ fertilizer products and 16 seed paddy varieties at launch, each with its composition and pack sizes.
- Orders on WhatsApp. Big estate and dealer orders need custom prices, so buyers order or ask for a quote on WhatsApp in two clicks instead of a card checkout.
- A dealer finder. Buyers find their nearest authorised dealer by district.
- Crop guides that sell. Feeding schedules for 7 main crops, each linked to the products it needs.
- Built for AI search. Guides are laid out as simple tables that people and AI tools can read and quote.
The site launched in September 2026. We will add traffic and enquiry numbers once 90 days of data is in. Read the full AgriOne case study or visit agrione.lk.
Online stores like this sit in our E-Commerce Flow package, from LKR 550,000 to 750,000, ready in 3 to 4 weeks or more. See all website prices.

Online Store Questions
Can Sri Lankan customers pay by card on my online store?
Yes. We connect local payment gateways so customers can pay by card and other common methods. We help you pick the gateway that fits your bank and your fees.
Should I use Shopify or WooCommerce?
Shopify is simpler and charges a monthly fee. WooCommerce runs on WordPress, gives you more control and has no platform fee, but needs more care. We recommend one after we learn how you sell.
Can I add and edit products myself?
Yes. We set up the store so your team can add products, change prices and manage orders. We include a training session at launch.
